STOBO Castle is on the shortlist for the race to find the best spa in the country.
The public have voted and the hotel near Peebles is one of five finalists in a competition run by the Good Spa Guide Awards.
The second round of public voting to determine the winner and ultimate spa in the area has now begun and will close on Friday, October 31.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony which will be held in conjunction with the Spa Life UK Conference Gala Dinner on Tuesday, November 18, at Center Parcs Woburn Forest. This will be the first live ceremony and the sixth annual awards.
The others to reach the final are: Kohler Waters Spa at the Old Course Hotel; Norton House Hotel and Spa; Spa at Blythswood Square and Trump Turnberry, a Luxury Collection Resort.
