More than 70 people visited the Tweeddale Museum and Gallery in Peebles week to see the unveiling of a huge collection of new work created by 12 local artists during the Working Perspectives project which created residencies in a crossection of 10 different companies.

Visitors are getting up close and personal with individually decorated plates produced by Lindsay Roberts in response to her time at Castle Warehouse. Elsewhere in the exhibition, Inge Panneels was showing a range of beautiful glass panels inspired by her time at the Buchan Museum, Claire Blyth’s paintings collage and drawings captured the spirit of the Nomad Beat Music School and John Grandison, of business host Ornamental Plasterers L Grandison and Sons, was sporting a beautiful pair of cufflinks, one of the pieces created during the residency by artist Anne Collin.

The ambitious and intriguing Working Perspectives project is the result of a partnership between the artist collective Crossing Borders, Peebles Creative Place 2014 and Tweeddale Museum and Gallery where the art will be on display until Saturday, April 11.
