Tots of the pops at Baby Loves Disco
IT'S the nightmare of everyone growing up, you're on the dancefloor boogeying away, when over the shoulder of the girl you're dancing with, you spot your parents - instant and crushing embarassment follows.
Thankfully though, revellers at Baby Loves Disco have yet to become fully aware of their dads most cringeworthy moves.
The concept is a new form of family entertainment sweeping Scotland - clubbing with your kids.
Lesley Woodall, of Newbigging, began running the events over a year ago; at which, babies, toddlers and children of all ages join their parents to dance the afternoon away.
It's a world away from Lesley's previous job working with artists such as Blur and Jarvis Cocker as a radio promoter for various record labels. Although knowing how to handle a diva-like tantrum can't hurt.
Mum of three Lesley said: "It was a job where you needed to work 24/7 - that doesn't go with being a mum. Now I'm still working in the music industry but in a very different way."
Founded in America, Baby Loves Disco was brought to the UK by Naomi Timperley, who plugged the concept on hit TV show Dragon's Den.
However, she left the den emptyhanded but an interested Lesley, who had recently given birth to her eldest son, Jude, was watching the show.
She said: "I was so impressed by the idea, I went straight on the internet to track Naomi down. The timing was perfect as she was looking for someone to run things in Scotland."
Lesley will host a Valentine's Day Baby Loves Disco in Edinburgh's Corn Exchange this Sunday (February 14), and at Tiger, Tiger in Glasgow and the Macrobert Centre in Stirling later in the year.
All this despite recently giving birth to twin daughters Lola and Sophie.
Lesley said: "It can be dull for parents repeatedly taking children along to their nearest soft play centre but bringing your child to a Baby Loves Disco event means everyone can have fun.
"The DJ plays up-to-date hits and there's also a full bar so mum or dad can have a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. There's something for both the kids and the parents."
Apart from the disco, there are also lots of other activities for kids, from a chill-out corner with inflatable tents to bubble machines, face painting, musical instruments and a mini soccer school.
There are also free drinks and healthy snacks for kids. For more information, visit www.babylovesdisco.co.uk
