THIEVES carried out a 'high value theft' from the Glenkerie Wind Farm near Broughton last Sunday.
Two green Landrovers, a white Ford Transit minibus and a quad bike were stolen from the construction site sometime between 4.30pm on Sunday August 1 and 6am on Monday August 2.
Novera Energy have planning permission to build 11 wind turbines on the site near Tweedsmuir, and Lothian and Borders Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact them.
The thefts come after a spate of incidents in Peeblesshire over the last week, in which two premises were broken into and a number of items stolen.
In the first incident an attempt was made to break into Cocoa Black in South Park Industrial estate at some point between 9am on Wednesday July 28 and 10am on Monday August 2.
Police have urged people to pay more attention to burglar alarms after it emerged that the business' alarm was sounding for some time before they were called to investigate.
Frank Ballantyne Garden Machinery was also broken into - and this time the thieves made off with over £2000 worth of stock.
The thieves removed a padlock from the gate before smashing their way into the show room and stealing a hedge trimmer, chainsaw and hand held leaf blower at some time between 1pm on Saturday July 31 and 7.10am on Monday August 2.
And 25 metal road signs belonging to Alba Traffic Management were also stolen from the side of the A702 road near West Linton last weekend.
Anyone with information relating to any of these crimes is asked to contact Police in Peebles.
