JOBS still hang in the balance at Rosetta Holiday Park as property specialists are drafted in to find a buyer for the £2.5m site.
After three fruitless months of attempting to find a new owner themselves, administrators KPMG this week took the decision to called in estate agents, Colliers International.
KPMG took over the 50-acre campsite and caravan park shortly before Christmas, after its owner Northern Ireland based Olympus Leisure Parks Ltd, entered administration.
The jobs of six full-time staff members and up to 20 seasonal employees had looked to have been spared as KPMG claimed they were confident of selling the business as a going concern.
But fears still persist as no buyer is found on the eve of the busy holiday season.
The site was sold to Olympus Leisure Parks two years ago by local businessman Mike Clay and is currently developed with 74 static, 139 touring and 34 lodge pitches with a site licence for 260 caravans or tents.
Richard Moss, director at Colliers International, said: "Rosetta offers tremendous scope and with some master planning the park could become one the of the premier holiday parks in the area."
