It is with great sadness that Peebles RFC have announced the passing of club committee man Gerard Bony.

Gerard passed away suddenly last Friday at the age of 64. He served the club for many years as a Treasurer and put countless hours in to the Sponsorship Committee and the annual 7s. Gerard was instrumental in instigating and running CASC and the fiftyfifty on behalf of the club; both of which have resulted in substantial financial benefit to Peebles RFC. In recent years he has also taken control of the Match Programme arrangements and running the OAP's annual Burns Supper.

He will be sadly missed by all at Peebles RFC and leaves behind a massive hole in our committee room.

Condolences go out to the Bony family.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:

Thursday 20th September, 2.00pm. Mortonhall Crematorium.

As a mark of respect a minutes silence will be held prior to Saturdays (22.09.12) 1st XV home game versus Kirkcaldy.
