IT is one of the biggest fundraisers in the UK. And children in West Linton rose to the occasion.

The primary six and seven class at West Linton Primary School held a bake sale in aid of Children in Need.

And together they raised £425.

It was one of a series of fundraisers held across the Borders last week to raise cash for the annual telethon which helps change the lives of disadvantaged children across the country and this year raised a total of £28.6million.
