Edinburgh Rugby players paid a visit to Peebles High School of Rugby . New South African signings Andries Strauss and Carl Bezuidenhout were joined by Sam Hydalgo-Clyne.
All 26 boys received some excellent coaching which they were able to put into practice at the annual Bill McLaren South Schools 7s.
The S1 and S2s won two pool matches each but lost out to Galashiels Academy.
The Under 15 team beat Galashiels Academy but lost out to winners Selkirk HS.
The 1st XV enjoyed success against Canadian visitors Brantford Collegiate with a 24-19 win. Brantford won the U16 match 12-10.
