FRIGHTENED Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison told a fan going through a difficult time: “There is ALWAYS hope.”
A poignant note he is said to have sent to a fan in the US, the 36-year-old said: “No matter how dark life seems, you are never alone.”
The note was posted on Twitter by user Adam Park.

Sharing the image, Adam said: “Seeing this message Scott Hutchison personally wrote to a fan has broken me. For a man who’s words and music have brought so much light to people in need - this situation feels all the more crushing.”
Sitting on top of a Frightened Rabbit hat, the message reads: “Hey Justin,
“I hope you don’t [mind] me sending this note. Your kind parents got in touch recently to tell me you had been having a difficult time and that Frightened Rabbit had helped you to pull through.
“All I really wanted to say is that, no matter how dark life seems, you are never alone. There is ALWAYS hope.
“Hope the hat warms the Ohio winter!”
He simply signed it off, “Scott.”
As previously reported by the Evening Times, a body has been found in the search for the Glasgow-based musician after he was reported missing by this family this week.
Police in Edinburgh confirmed early on Friday morning that the body of a man was found at Port Edgar near South Queensferry at around 8.30pm on Thursday, May 10.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of the Scots indie rocker has been informed.

The family has requesting privacy at this sad time.
Originally from Selkirk, Scott was reported missing from Dennistoun in Glasgow, on Wednesday, May 9.
Fears had been growing for the 36-year-old as his chilling last tweet gained attention this week.
Late on Tuesday night, Scott posted on Twitter: “I’m away now. Thanks.”

Minutes before, Scott had tweeted: “Be so good to everyone you love. It’s not a given. I’m so annoyed that it’s not. I didn’t live by that standard and it kills me. Please, hug your loved ones.”
His brother and bandmate had issued a heart-rending appeal for Scott to “come back and be safe” on Thursday afternoon.
Grant Hutchison said the family felt helpless but that the support they received had been incredible.
