WEST Linton SWRI had a fabulous night out at its Christmas dinner in West Linton Golf Club on December 18.
The dinner was excellent, as was the company, then it was enhanced by a visit from Santa and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
This was also a special occasion for Mrs Margaret Davidson who was made an honorary member. Margaret has been a very active and faithful member of the Rural for more years than she would no doubt like to admit to! However, it is a well deserved honour and we give her our congratulations.
The winners of the competition for the best wrapped present were as follows: 1st, Agnes Howieson; 2nd, Una Franssen; 3rd, Siobhan Underwood.
