PRIMARY seven pupils at West Linton School hosted their parents and special guests at their Burns Supper.
Tradition was upheld as local fireman and piper Gregor MacGregor piped in the haggis to a rousing reception and a fine address from pupils.
Guests were treated to outstanding performances of Burns’ work including Tam O’ Shanter, To a Mouse and Willie Wastle.
There were highland dancers, toasts tae the Lassies with replies, as well as Immortal Memories all prepared and delivered by the children themselves. The afternoon ended in a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne led by a primary six soloist.
