LOLLIPOP lady Glynnis Scott has given Cub Scouts in West Linton big licks after they raised lots of “lolly” for charity.
She was joined by Guide Dogs volunteer Patricia Lindsay and two adorable guide dog puppies - Zeta and Lola - on a visit to West Linton Cub Scouts.
The Cub Scouts had raised nearly £260 to help their lollipop lady to name a guide dog 'Breeze’ in memory of her own cherished dog who recently passed away. Glynnis revealed she was totally blown away by the generosity of the Cub Scouts in the village.
“The local support has been fantastic to this appeal, Guide Dogs is such an invaluable charity it is fantastic to see the youth of the village support this fundraising effort so enthusiastically,” she said.
