Eddi Reader’s sell out concert brought comments of “she just gets better and better”. The capacity audience left the hall very satisfied customers. I won’t give you a blow by blow account of the weekend here – come and hear my year’s report at our AGM - but do let me mention a few things.

Don Cameron packed out the Masons with All the Angels, Live & Local packed in 70 musicians, not including the St Ronan’s Silver Band, at the Vale, the Middle put on a superb curtain raiser with the Border Boogie Band and the Union once again hosted a very successful festival club and a host of workshops. The Corner House and Traquair Arms had sessions going all weekend and the Top had their BBQ and music event. Thanks to all for there enthusiastic support in cash or kind. Last, but certainly not least, many thanks to my committee, we’re the Three Musketeers – all for one and one for all – and to our many helpers who work so hard over the weekend as stewards, bar staff, raffle sellers, workshop hosts. Thanks also to the hall staff.
