Sir, On behalf of our committee I would like to thank the people of the Peebles area for their generosity in supporting the 2014 Christian Aid Week.
We are also grateful to the collectors, and the organisers of the various supporting events, whose support is critical to the success of our Christian Aid Week collection.
The amount raised was £9000 which is a tremendous effort.
The collection will aid children and families in areas of conflict worldwide, from Syria and South Sudan to Columbia and Afghanistan.
