Sir, Through the courtesy of your columns I would like to say a huge thank you to the people of Peebles for making mine and Sharon’s a Beltane week to remember.
A huge thank you to the Beltane committee for their hard work in making sure that we had a great week and a huge thanks to my fellow principles and supporters. It truly has been the most enjoyable week of our lives.
A particular highlight was when we came down from South Park to make the crossing over the Tweed. Seeing what looked like every single resident of Peebles there to watch the crossing was truly phenomenal.
A huge thanks must also go to Kate, Gordon and everyone at the Tontine Hotel for looking after us for most of the week.
Thank you to everyone who sent us cards of congratulations. The support we’ve had from everyone we have met has been fantastic.
Looking forward to Beltane 2015!
