Sir, Through the courtesy of the Peeblesshire News and on behalf of our local branch of Cancer Research, I would like to thank everyone who took part in our annual sponsored walk.
Also a very special thank you to our very generous sponsors for your terrific support. Without you none of this would be possible. The total raised was £6500.
We have been doing the same lovely walk for more than 20 years and on a vote from the walkers, they wish to continue it next year.
We have the very proud achievement of being one of the best cancer fund raisers in Scotland, which we hope to continue.
To everyone involved in any way with the work, my most sincere thanks. Anyone wishing to join us next year would be most welcome to this great fun day on May 24 2015.
