SIR, THANK you to the hundreds of people in Tweeddale on both sides of the debate who participated and helped to run the many events and street conversations during the months and weeks leading up to the referendum.

An inspiring level of engagement happened all over Scotland during this memorable spring and summer of 2014.

The Yes movement consists of a spectrum of groups including the SNP, Scottish Socialists, The Green Party, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Women for Independence, National Collective, Common Weal, Radical Independence and many more.

We are continuing to meet locally and nationally, engaging with the new political process emerging as Scotland moves beyond the referendum.

If you would like to join us, as we imagine and work towards a fairer and better Scotland, please contact us and come to the next meeting in the Community Centre behind St Ronan’s Primary School on Monday, October 6, 7pm to 9 pm. Everyone welcome - however you voted.

We are, etc.
