Sir, Members of Peebles Christmas Lights Association would like to thank everyone who supported their annual Coffee Morning on Saturday, September 27.
Peebles Rugby Club for the use of their premises, Peebles Callants and Gutterbluids for ably assisting with serving coffees as well as the washing up, all the bakers who contributed to the Cake and Candy stall, donors of items to the Raffle, and the good folk of Peebles for coming along.
We raised £444 and were also very encouraged by the number of baubles, advent calendars and Christmas cards sold. These last items will go on sale at selected outlets in Peebles between now and Christmas – watch local press and Facebook for details.
