SIR, With the weather now becoming colder, I write on behalf of Peebles Old Parish Church of Scotland to remind everyone of the existence of the Peebles Coal Fund.
This fund was set up to assist anyone in need with their heating expenses during the winter months. It is administered, for the church, by Cullen Kilshaw, solicitors, 23 Northgate, Peebles. Anyone wishing to have assistance from the fund should apply to the undersigned at my home address. We would also be most grateful to accept donations for the Coal Fund and these should be made to Cullen Kilshaw.
