SIR, It really beggar’s belief that a cash strapped copuncil such as Scottish Borders Council is going to pay millions of pounds of our money - yes, our money, the council has no money of its own - to bring the scottish Tapestry to the Borders.
As a Borders taxpayer, I say no and no again to this waste of our money, taxpayer’s money, stop this idiotic scheme now.
If it was financially beneficial the last two sites where it was on view would have surely kept it.
