THERE may not have been any play on Saturday for Tweeddale Rovers but there was plenty fun and games at the annual Sportman's Dinner in the evening.
Yet again the event in the Green Tree Hotel was sold out.
This year's top table of speakers included former Dunfermline manager Jim Leishman, former Scotland manager Craig Brown and BBC Scotland's Brian McLaughlin.
Tweeddale Rovers legend Jimmy Moffat also provided plenty of entertainment from the top table, as did the SFA's Gus Mackay.
A spokesman for Tweeddale Rovers said: "The speakers were once again of a very high standard and Jim Leishman and Craig Brown provided some laughs and insights.
"Thanks also to Alan Vannan and all the staff at the Green Tree for putting it all on, and to Tommy Williamson for organising."
