PEEBLES RFC first team coach Ewen Robbie says Saturday’s game against second top GHK is a must win if Peebles are to continue their promotion push.

The Pees have gone three games unbeaten in the BT National League Division 2 after their convincing 23-9 win over Biggar.

And Robbie says his team will have to be at their best at the weekend.
He told the Peeblesshire News: “GHK is a massive game on Saturday and we are really looking forward to it.

“The good thing is that we’re back at the Gytes and we have been unbeaten in the league there this season, so we can be confident.

“We need to get a result on Saturday though, if we have got aspirations of getting promoted. There is a long way to go in the league, so we need to pick up all the points we can.

“We really want to see a big crowd down at the Gytes on Saturday too. That can be a massive help for us.

"We’ve got some younger lads in the team and they all deserve the support, so we want as many people to come as possible to cheer us on and enjoy the rugby.”

Kick-off at the Gytes is at 3pm.
