DEFENDING South Cup winners Danderhall will face Tweeddale Rovers in the semi-finals after thumping Greenlaw.

The Edinburgh side won 6-0 at WS Happer Park with Mark Brown and Mark Moncrieff both on target.

Gordon won a nine goal thriller against Hawick Waverley to make it into the Beveridge Cup semi-finals.

With the game tied at 3-3 after 90 minutes, Gordon went in front only for Taylor Hope to equalise.

But a late winner for Gordon put an end to Waverley’s five month unbeaten run.

Tweeddale Rovers' 11 game unbeaten run also came to an end after Chirnside United beat the Peebles men in the same competition. Grant Wilson grabbed Rovers’ only goal.

Kevin Strathdee scored a double for Hawick United as they triumphed over Linton Hotspur in the Walls Cup quarter finals, while Neil Elliot, Ejay Gay and Andrew Oldham sent Kelso Thistle through to semi-finals with a 3-1 win over Gala Hotspur.

And Duns are still on course to win their first Sanderson Cup for 26 years with a 4-2 win at Kelso Amateurs.

In Division A, a late Tweedmouth Amateurs goal kept alive their thin hopes of staving off relegation, while keeping Stow in trouble.

Gary Cleghorn looked to have won the game for Stow with his second half goal but the Amateurs’ equaliser five minutes from time means the Berwick side need to win their final two games to have a chance of staying up.

The Lothian twins – Gary and Craig – were on the scoresheet for Earlston Rhymers who registered a huge three points in their battle against the drop.

Scott Hunter also found the net for Rhymers who beat second placed Hawick Legion 3-2, with Scott Duncan getting the Teries’ two goals.

Legion’s loss means Newtown can gain promotion by winning their final two games, after thumping relegated Leithen Rovers 6-2, with Joe Tait grabbing two goals for the Villagers.

Lauder moved into second in Division C with a 7-2 win over Selkirk Victoria with Hagen Steele scoring a hat-trick, while Melrose beat CFC Bowholm.
