Liberton 1

Peebles Ladies 0

THE ladies travelled to Goldenacre for their final game of the season against Liberton.

It was a glorious day through in the capital and the ladies were very disappointed not to end what has been another fantastic season with a win.

The Pees dominated most of the game but unfortunately could not convert any of the chances created or capitalise on any of the numerous corners awarded.

The ladies may feel disappointed but we are immensely proud of our achievements for the first season back in the Premier Division.

The final league positions have not been confirmed yet but there is still a chance of finishing in third position if Uni 4s draw or lose their final game.

If Uni 4s won their last game Peebles finish on the same points and it will go down to goal difference.

But all in all another tremendous season for the ladies.

Huge congratulations and well done to young Abbie Gilmour who made her debut at Liberton.

Many thanks to Sandy for umpiring and to coach Stuart Lobb for all his hard work, commitment and dedication to the team!
