PEEBLES tennis player Leah Kane reached the final of the East of Scotland Under 12s tournament last weekend.
The big-hitting Halyrude Primary pupil was playing in her first tournament of the season.
On the courts in Edinburgh Leah managed to knock out the tournament's number two seed, Rosie Sinnot, in straight sets - 4-2, 4-0.
Despite playing well in a closely fought final the Peebles player was beaten by Ailsa Clark.
