Pupils from West Linton Primary School have enjoyed success in the recent Scottish Schools’ Athletics Association Primary Cross Country Event at Kirkcaldy High School.
The P7 girls’ team came first out of the 41 who took part from all across Scotland with a total of 249 girls competing in the P7 race.
The P7 team was Mia Downie, Charlotte Morrison, Kaerdy MacDonald and Hannah Little. Michael Girdler won the P7 boys race, being the first home out of 266 competitors.
The school are very proud of the pupils’ participation and celebrate as a community their success and would like to thank parents and helpers who continue to work tirelessly in their own time to ensure the children of West Linton have the opportunity to be a part of such a successful running club.
