Coach Fred Blackie said: “It was a fantastic performance against a good side. We can’t wait to play Earlston Rhymers in the semi-finals.” Earlston beat Linton Hotspur 4-2, with Joe Thomson, Stevie Kinghorn and Gordon Watson finding the net.

Tweeddale Rovers and Duns will play each other in the other semi after both secured convincing wins.

Rovers hammered ten-man Coldstream Amateurs 5-0, with Nick Rogers bagging a hat-trick and David Lindsay and Grant Wilson also finding the net, while the Dingers won 4-0 at home to Ancrum.
