Shukria serve up a treat with sponsorship deal for Peebles Ams

PEEBLES Amateurs have cooked up a new sponsorship deal with local Indian takeaway restaurant Shukria.

Pictured with their new home tops for the season are Ams players Stuart Mullins and Ryan Gray, with Shukria owner Sharowar Hussain.

Meanwhile Peebles will try again tomorrow (Saturday) to complete their South of Scotland Cup first round tie at home to Carluke Hearts.

The clash has fallen victim to a waterlogged pitch on two occasions already.

Jason Brown's side has played the least amount of games in the whole of the Borders this season - five - and the boss and his players are desperate to get games under their belt.
