Innerleithen’s St Ronan’s Bowling Club’s season drew to a close with members collecting silverware.
Especially worthy of praise was young player 14-year-old Rory Murray who formed an effective partnership with Jojo Dougal, more than four times his age, to win the Jubilee Pairs Trophy.
Other winners were: Gents Champion - Andrew Borthwick, Ladies Champion - Hazel Dodds, President’s Cup - Robert Hendry, Vale (3) - Malcolm Ormiston, Aitchison Shield - Gloria Smith, Masonic Pairs - Mike Kerr and Rab Turner and Ballantyne Pairs - Nelson Johnstone and Jimmy Borthwick.
