The season offers great downhill racing on exciting, technical SDA courses right across the country, starting in Innerleithen, continuing at 7 Stanes Ae Forest in Dumfries and Galloway with the Scottish Cycling National Championships, then to Glencoe and Fort William in the Highlands, Pitfichie in Aberdeenshire and rounding of the season back in the Scottish Highlands at Glencoe.

Each round offers nine categories of racing to accommodate all ages and abilities and as with all SDA events a friendly and welcoming helping hand from the experienced to the new starts coming to their first race and venue.

In addition to the SDA Series, Scottish Cycling underpins and co-ordinates the organisation of over 650 events each year.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Peeblesshire will host a Scottish Cycling Olympic Time Trial later this year.

Entries are now open for the Tour of the Meldons which begins in Eddleston on Sunday, April 26.
