FROM antiques to seventies disco, there is something for everyone at Biggar Little Festival this month.

Experts from Lyon & Turnbull will be on hand to tell you whether your rummage in the attic has uncovered a priceless antique or an object of sentimental value alone.

Haven’t you always wondered if that dust-covered vase in the corner of the china cupboard is Ming or just minging? How about that rather dark looking painting under a sheet in the attic, was it painted by Uncle Albert or by Raeburn? And that pretty brooch your gran left you that you love to wear but the clasp is broken, always meant to find out if it was worth insuring.

Lots of good reasons then to come along to Biggar Kirk between 10.30am and 4pm on Saturday, October 18 to have a free consultation with the experts.

On Saturday, October 25 at 7.30pm at the Municipal Hall there’s the ultimate disco show – a hi-octane 1970’s interactive disco parody featuring the legendary ‘Brutus Gold’ – the original superstar DJ, stuck in a time-warp of music, fashion and aftershave!

Put on your boogie shoes, pull up your pants and get down and dance the night away with Brutus and his team of dancers and 70s disco stage set.

Dress for the occasion, come with the girls, come with your favourite dancing partner, but make sure you come to enjoy some wicked music from Brutus, Manchester’s favourite ‘man with the tan’ and his company.

See Love Train - Brutus Gold on You Tube – you don’t want to miss it – they have performed for George Clooney and the MTV awards and now Biggar Little Festival!

Tickets £10 from the BLF Website www.biggar-little-festival.com, Box Office at the Gillespie Centre Biggar or call 07837 026007 or available on the door.

The Biggar Little Festival begins on October 16 and ends on October 26.
