THE Kaleidoscope Saxophone Quartet, one of the winning groups of this season’s Tunnell Trust awards, are playing in Carlops Hall on Sunday, January 18 at 4pm.
John Moore (saxophonist and composer), Ian Dingle (multi-faceted musician, photographer and film-maker), Guy Passey (folk and jazz-influenced saxophonist) and Sally MacTaggart (concert soloist) combine to give us an unusual and entertaining afternoon. The programme will include pieces by Dvorak, Piazzola, Grieg and Gershwin as well as new music, some of which has been commissioned by the quartet.
Tickets at the door are priced £10, accompanied children free.
