FOLLOWING their exceptional sold out show at the Eastgate Theatre in November, classic rockers Strange Brew make a welcome return to Peebles when they head for the Rugby Club on Friday, March 13. Recently described as “one of the best cover bands in the UK”, Strange Brew focus solely on the classic rock of the late 60s and 70s in a show that will thrill local rock fans. Strange Brew’s repertoire mixes era-defining anthems such as Free’s All Right Now, Deep Purple’s Smoke on the Water and Cream’s Sunshine of Your Love with lesser known but equally powerful tracks from the likes of The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Humble Pie. This unique blend of songs ensures a Strange Brew show caters for all, with hardcore rock fans hearing rare album tracks they haven’t heard since their vinyl collection bit the dust!

Support comes from the outstanding Scatterbrain, who will be performing a set of their own inimitable retro bluesy rock, making this an unmissable evening for local music fans. Tickets are on sale from the Rugby Club, and the Three Fishes Gallery, priced £5. The show starts at 8.30pm.
