WILD Food @ Kailzie hosts a variety of activities at Kailzie Gardens this weekend, Saturday May 30.
This family day out will provide activities for all ages with a wild food theme. Discover the variety of all things edible found in the woods and the wild. From seeds to leaves and bulbs to bark...what does the local wildlife eat and what can we safely forage?
Help make the Songbird Feasting Tree, look out for Predators in the Pond, and Food from the Forest & Tasty Trees guided walks and tastings.
Local author and forager Fi Martynoga is leading 'Feast in the Forest’ guided walks. This time of year provides an abundance of edible leaves and flowers and this is a unique opportunity to share her wealth of knowledge.
Wild Food @ Kailzie is being held at Kailzie Gardens, near Peebles, on Saturday, May 30, from 11am to 4pm and as part of the Borders Nature Festival. Entrance will be by donation.
