The Folksy Theatre are thrilled to be back performing arguably Shakespeare’s most famous play at Glen House Gardens, Innerleithen, on Thursday, July 16, at 7pm.

The event follows the company’s successful production of The Taming Of The Shrew last year.

After losing his father, Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, returns home to find his mother is to marry his Uncle!

Hamlet soon comes to realise that something is amiss and that he alone must battle his inner demons and seek to avenge his late father, but can he do it or will his attempts end his own demise?

Bring along your picnics, blankets, folding chairs and friends and family to enjoy the open-air production, which will be filled with live folk music and colourful characters, in an apt Victorian setting – it’s Hamlet as you’ve never seen it before!
