Horse captured on stage at Peebles theatre
AN Andalusian with wings became the first live horse to take centrestage at the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles.
The event, Diamonds and Hoof Oil, was the finale to a six-month long project all about horses, called Fetlock Deep.
Performance artist Claire Pencak, visual artist Catriona Taylor and sound artist James Wyness were commissioned by the Eastgate to develop a set of events and exhibitions that would celebrate the importance of horses in the Borders.
Anyone who missed the theatre performance can still visit two Fetlock Deep exhibitions - one in the Eastgate Studio, and the other an outdoor installation along the drove road that runs from Traquair towards the Minch Moor.
