CAIRNS Robert (Peebles) Peacefully, at St Johns Rest Home, Melrose, on Thursday 23rd November 2017, Robert, aged 99 years, formerly of Whitestone Court, Peebles, dearly beloved husband of the late Dorothy, father of Douglas and Alan and grandfather of Iain and Andrew. Cremation service at Borders Crematorium on Monday 4th December, at 12.00noon, to which all friends are respectfully invited. No black ties, casual clothes welcome. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired will be received on retiring from service for the British Tinnitus Association.
