PEARS Muriel (Peebles) Peacefully at St Ronan's Care Home, Innerleithen, on 12th. December 2018, Muriel Pears, aged 90, formerly of Glen Crescent, Peebles, dear wife of the late Alan, devoted mother of Carol and Linda, loving and beloved grandma of Martin, Anne, Rachel and Faye, good friend of sons-in-law David and Gregor. Muriel's life's work was teaching in primary schools, latterly Gosforth West Infant's School, Newcastle, where she specialised in music and drama. She spent her happy retirement in Keswick and Peebles. Service in Borders Crematorium, Melrose, TD6 9HA, on Friday 21st. December at 10.00am, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished to St Oswald's Hospice, Regent Avenue, Gosforth, Newcastle uponTyne, NE3 1EE.
