AITKEN - Helen Elizabeth (Birtley, formerly of Newcastle) Peacefully on 31st December 2019 aged 90 years. Helen (née Gilmour), devoted Mum of Lynne and Tim and Mother-in-law of Michael. Much loved Nana of Peter, Phil, Mark, Joanne and Stef and Great Grandma of Abigail, Luke and Nathan. Also a dear sister of Eric and the late Gilmour gang. Helen will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Service at Birtley Crematorium on Friday 24th January at 2.30 pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be made to Dementia UK.
