As a little girl roughly around 4 years of age I met moira at a mission in castledawson, she has been a close friend since and travelled over to Northern Ireland and went out of her way to visit me in Belfast and ballyclare and I’ve fond memories of visits at her aunts house in castledawson, also if visits to Innerleithen and the hilly walks she was fond of, truly saddened that she’s gone :(

We were so sad to hear of the death of our special friend Moira, who we have known since meeting at the Keswick Convention in 1980. She has always been a great encouragement to us and we have known such a great support from her in prayer and encouragement. The Lord has spoken these words to us about our dear friend-do not grieve, she is among the living. We met up with her in Deal soon after Tony died and we spoke to her by phone just before she died and it was obvious that she was ready to go Home to be with her Lord. We all need to finish this life well and Moira certainly did. The Lord called her Home and she was ready.
Our love Norman and Denise

My late husband Harry and I cycled with Moira in the 1960's during our Youth Hostelling days in Northern Ireland. Over the years I lost touch with Moira but have wonderful memories of times spent with her. A truly inspirational lady, and a wonderful nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. At rest.

moira was one of the most inspirational persons that I knew for 49 years! she touched the hearts of so many through her nursing in the Community and also by her unstinting care for others despite her own health challenges!
We can think of her now rejoicing with the angels in Heaven.

Moira was a wonderful, kind friend who will be missed by all her Youth Hostelling friends in N. Ireland. She has gone home to her Lord. "Well done thou good and faithful servant". Bella

So sorry to hear this sad news. A great friend and nurse throughout my younger years. An inspiration. Will always be in my memories.
