FOSTER John (Peebles) John Foster's family says a big thank you to the people who cared for him and Daphne over the past year. In particular the carers from DDL, with whom he laughed each day, and the nurses and doctors at Hay Lodge Hospital and practice. Neighbours and friends were so kind during lockdown to, keeping in touch, getting our shopping in and being kind in many different ways. He often mentioned how much he appreciated the things you all did for him and the family. We also thank Peter Grandison for making the funeral run so smoothly and the Tontine Hotel for being so friendly and kind and providing such tasty food for the tea afterwards.
