BIG-HEARTED resident's at a Biggar care home joined in the spirit of Comic Relief which this year had the theme of doing something funny for money.

Winnie White, 84, and Jessie Brodie, 88, both sported Red Noses while they watched the marathon telethon on TV at Langvout Court.

The ladies favourite sketch was the 'Midwife' featuring Miranda, their favourite comedian of the moment.

Hannah Wade, Senior Care Assistant for Bield, said: "Red Nose is such a fantastic day because it not only raises money for a great cause but also provides entertainment that is second to none. Here at Langvout Court we are fully invested in the Bield Philosophy Free to Be, and it is up to our service users to decided what they watch and when, and it was lovely to all get together and celebrate."
