It's time to get voting for this year's Pet Idol.
Proud pet owners across the area have been sending in photos of their perfect pets and you can see them all in this week's paper. You'll also find details of how to vote and a voting coupon.
The first round of voting will close at noon on August 17. We’ll then count all the votes to whittle down the entries to our Top 50 which we'll publish in the paper. Round two will decide the Top 25and round three the Top 10.
The final round of voting will close at noon on October 19 and we'll announce the winner soon after that.
We’ll print tokens in the paper at each round of voting and all votes will be carried over to the next round. Remember you can enclose multiple tokens in one envelope to save on postage.
