A TWEEDDALE group are taking to the stage next month in a new play.
Members of the Tweed Theatre will tread the boards at the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles in a production of Sandi Toksvig's play Silver Lining.
The show is about Gloria from Leith, who apart from modelling a piece of stylish bedpan millinery, has a fondness for flowery expletives and raunchy sexual innuendo and a grip on modern technology for selfies.
She, along with the other characters in the comedy, form an alliance as they attempt to escape from an old people's home threatened by rising floods.
The production contains strong language and some sexual content not suitable for younger children.
The shows will take place between Thursday to Saturday, September 6-8 at 7.30pm at the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles.
Tickets are £10, £8 and £6 for under 15s. To book, visit: www.eastgatearts.com
