GREEN-fingered locals will soon find out if they’ve done enough to impress the Peebles in Bloom judges.
The annual award ceremony, which is organised by the town’s community council, will take place in the Burgh Hall at 7.30pm on Thursday, August 23.
Chairman Lawrie Hayworth told last week’s community council meeting: “Preparations for the awards are going very well, and my thanks go to all those who were involved with the nominations.”
Gardens have been judged in the following categories: large garden, medium garden, best street, courtyard garden, business, best all year round garden, secret garden and small garden.
