AN exercise group's after class teas have led to a boost for the Eastgate Theatre.
Every week members of the MacFarlane Movers Over 60s Exercise Class make a small donation for their teas and coffees.
And once £200 is reached they donate it to a local good cause.
Jean Westwater told the Peeblesshire News: "The class chose to donate to the Eastgate Theatre as they have been having a major fundraising event to improve facilities.
"This latest donation brings the total given to local good causes by the MacFarlane Movers to £12,000!
"All this from a wee cuppa after the class - every mickle maks amuckle is so true."
Maggie McKay from the Eastgate collected the cheque for £200 this week.
The MacFarlane Movers Over 60s Exercise Class meet every Wednesday at the MacFarlane Hall, behind the Parish Church, at 10:15am.
New members always welcome.
