A convoy of tractors has hit the road to raise money for a cancer charity.
A group of 30 drivers took their tractors on the Blyth Bridge and District Tractor Run to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer research charity.
The event set out from Blyth Bridge on a ten-mile circular route, past Drochil Castle and up to Rommano Bridge where the group stopped at a Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.
The coffee morning, organised by Jane Dickson, raised £645 for the cancer support charity.
The tractors then headed up Bogsbank Road to West Linton where they paraded down Main Street.
Turning towards home, the tractors passed through Dolphinton before stopping for refreshments at the Big Red Barn.
The event raised a total of £825 for the breast cancer charity.
Organiser Stan Weir said: “The tractor run was brilliant. It went well and everything came together nicely.
“I would like to thank everyone who put time and effort in, and everyone who came together to raise money.”
