Unpaid work for 20-year-old who smashed bottle over his own head
A SELKIRK man who hit himself over the head with a wine bottle has been ordered to carry out 90 hours unpaid work at the town's sheriff court.
Kieran Baron passed out after the incident on July 21.
The 20-year-old of Bridge Street, pleaded guilty to threatening or abusive behaviour and threatening to harm himself in Selkirk on July 21.
