A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a 47-year-old woman who failed to turn up for her trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Lisa Gray has been charged with assaulting her estranged husband at a house in Connor Street in Peebles in August.
She is also accused of threatening or abusive behaviour and breaching a court order by entering the house in Connor Street and contacting her estranged husband.
Her lawyer told the court that Gray, now living in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, had left a message to say she was currently in Glasgow Royal Infirmary to undergo tests.
But she could not provide vouching for this and a warrant was granted.
