A SELKIRK man is facing two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a horse in his care.
Nick Mill denied the offences at the town's sheriff court.
The 50-year-old has been charged under the Animal Health and Welfare Scotland Act.
A trial date has been set for February 12 with an intermediate hearing on January 28.
